Dorian Fashions is a one of a kind clothing gallery featuring the creations of designer owner: Dorcas Derivera. Misses, junior and petite, women dresses, business suites, causal wear, evening wear and fine special occasion fashion apparel.
Originally from Guatemala, Dorcas Derivera has lived in the United States for the last 42 years. She began her career in fashion in New York City employed by Exquisite Form and then Bru-Mar manufacturing located in the Lehigh Valley. Besides attending the Baum School of Art, Dorcas has been able to learn about the industry from designers such as Marla Duran and Marianne Monteleone.
Currently, Dorcas is operating Dorian Fashions, her own clothing line which focuses on one of a kind garments for women. She wants women to feel special in their clothing and have a choice to purchase unique fashions different from “off the rack” clothing found in most stores.
Dorian Fashions creates fascinating and unusual classic jacket and dress designs using skills, hand woven, and a myriad of interesting fabrics. Now she also coordinates dresses, pants, and tops to match linings and fabrics in sizes S to XL; other sizes custom made by request.
Garments created by Dorcas Derivera are available at Dorian Fashions and occasionally at a private showing in other galleries.
